This Privacy Policy cannot extend to the practices of third parties that are not owned or controlled by SnarkyFish Art, including Shopify or any third party services you access through Shopify. Information Collected From You
To fulfill your order, you must provide certain information (which you have already authorized Shopify to provide for you), such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you have ordered. You may also choose to provide additional personal information, for example, by leaving reviews or by contacting SnarkyFish Art directly.
How Your Information Is Used
The information collected is needed to deliver the right product to the right address, to meet the requirements imposed by third-party sellers like Shopify, to comply with privacy laws, to resolve problems and disputes, and to facilitate payments through services like PayPal® and Square®.
SnarkyFish Art will never sell customers’ information and will never use it to send unsolicited marketing.
How Your Information is Shared
Maintaining the trust customers place in SnarkyFish Art to protect their private information is crucial to the business. Accordingly, sharing will be strictly limited to the minimum necessary, specifically:
- With third-party service providers, like PayPal;
- With delivery companies;
- As required by law, such as with law enforcement and courts; and
- As necessary to operate the business, such as to ensure proper billing and collection, to protect intellectual property rights, and to engage in statistical analysis of sales.
How Your Information is Protected
Records are maintained on a computer that operates behind a VPN. When sharing information is required, SnarkyFish Art will reasonably minimize the amount of information that will be shared. Business records containing customers’ private information generally are destroyed seven (7) years after they are created, however, particular records may be kept longer for a specific business need, such as for enforcing agreements or to meet legal requirements. If you have paid in full on all orders, and SnarkyFish Art does not have a need to keep the associated records, you may request early destruction of your records that are at least four (4) years old.
